Initial and recent sketches, also an idea for how the main page should look with a sunflower field and a random cloud background.
Linework base, based on the sketchbook sketch. (what grammar wow!)
Got the linework done, drawing all the critters was a joy lol. Also some sidesketches for Kota.
Got started on the coloring and wowza it's becoming more and more difficult to make the colors work together. Will adjust them to make them fit with oneanother better, but I'm hoping that the shading will help also.
Oh maaaan I struggled with this a lot today, it definitely needs more refining, the colors just aren't meeting as well as I want them. Worst part is the flat color version looks better in some places.
Finished! Though I have my issues with this, it's good for what it is. The clutter is certainly an issue, but hey you live and learn.
